According to Jiraiya, Kushina was talkative and a tomboyish girl.
According to Tsunade, much of Naruto's personality was inherited
from her. As an adult, she was shown to be very level-headed and
cheerful. She appeared to be very prim and proper.

Some time before the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox attacked Konoha,
Kushina and Minato Namikaze, became lovers and would
eventually had at the time, their unborn child, Naruto.
One time when Jiraiya came to visit, Minato announced that
they where going to name their unborn son after the main
character in his first book. It was then Kushina revealed herself,
saying that Naruto was a beautiful name.

Abilities:
Tsunade stated that Kushina had an excellent ninjutsu and is
further implied when she said that she was badly
wanted by Kumogakure to the point that they kidnapped her
resulting to the great unrest in Konoha. She
confirmed that she has a special chakra in her chat with Naruto.
In the chapter 499 it was revealed that she was the former
Jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi.

Minato and Kushina Love Story:

Kushina Uzumaki was a transferee student of Konoha Academy from moving in from the Land of Whirlpool. There she met Minato Namikaze, Naruto's future father and Konoha hero and Hokage. At first, she thought of Minato as "like a flaky girly-boy" due to his outward appearance. Upon being asked what would be her future dream, she replied in a loud manner: "I said, I'm gonna be the First Lady Hokage!"
The proclamation of her dream led to her being disliked, and thus earned the nickname "Tomato" because of her very round face and fiery red hair. The boys that bullied Kushina were beaten up by her. After seeing her wild red hair flailing around while she beat them up, she earned the new moniker(probably stuck to her on her stay in Konoha) "The Bloody Habanero".
Kushina responded negatively when Minato said his dream on his future as being a Hokage, saying that Minato would never be a hokage being a goofy flake. She stated to Naruto that she looked Minato down in her youth.
It is revealed that she has a "bit" special chakra that made her chased by Kumo nins and kidnapped. To let the pursuit squad of Konoha to find her, she pulled her hair out one at a time and dropped them to mark the way she took. Coincidentally, only Minato picked up her trail distinguishing her red strands of hair.
On her rescue, Kushina's hair was complimented by Minato, she immediately loved Minato after that and also because of it, she began to love her hair.

She is the current mizukage of Kirigakure. Her name is still yet to told. She has a somewhat cheerful personality and even smiles in proclaiming a death threat. She is a beautiful young woman who is also one of the two known female kages.
She is shown to have auditory problems for instead of hearing "just be a man" from Ao she heard "need a man", and in the recent manga, Ao said "make arrangements" and she heard "engagements".
This may suggest what she has in her past love life been unsuccessful for her reactions to be quite violent.

In the anime and manga series, Naruto, there exist tailed demons with an unimaginable amount of chakra called Bijuu. .Their are a total of nine demons that exist scattered throughout the Naruto world. Each Bijuu has a different number of tail, starting with Shukaku, the one-tailed demon going all the way up to the nine-tailed demon, Kyuubi. While only two of them have been revealed to us it has been stated in the manga that Akatsuki currently holds four of the nine demons. They have captured Gaara and extracted the power of Shukaku from him, and hold Yugito, the Jinchuuriki of the two-tailed demon cat. It is yet unknown what the other Bijuu are exactly. Other than the Three-tailed demon turtle, the rest of the Bijuu that have been revealed to us are based on creatures from Japanese mythology, so it is speculated that the rest of them will be from there as well.

A person within whom a Bijuu has been sealed at birth is called a Jinchuuriki, and grows up to exhibit extraordinary chakra. According to Akatsuki members, the Jinchuuriki are typically lonely people who hate humanity. This is probably because everyone is afraid of the Jinchuuriki and either run away upon seeing them or try and kill them (the same way people of the Hidden Sand Village treated Gaara). Before Gaara, when Akatsuki captured the two Jinchuuriki villages no one from their villages seemed to care, and in fact were thankful to be rid of them. The known Bijuu and Jinchuuriki that we have seen are below.

	Ichibi no Shukaku Jinchuuriki: Sabaku no Gaara Village/Country: Sunagakure no Sato/Wind Country Sasori's grandmother, Chiyo, had the demon Shukaku sealed into Gaara. Shukaku comes out when Gaara goes to sleep. As soon as Gaara awakens, however, the Shukaku disappears. This was first seen in the battle Gaara had with Naruto when Naruto was trying to protect Sakura from being killed. The powers Shukaku gives Gaara are the ability to move and levitate sand at will, as well as the ability to be protected at all times by the sand, regardless of his will (even self-inflicted injuries are prevented by the sand). He suffers from a side effect of lifelong insomnia and the black circles around his eyes show that. Later on in Naruto (this has only been shown in the manga thus far) Gaara was defeated in battle by Akatsuki member Deidara and Akatsuki removed the Shukaku demon from Gaara leading to Gaara's death. Luckily for Gaara, he was later on to be revived by Sasori's grandmother who gave her own life energy and sacrificed her life for the sake of Gaara's.

	Nibi no Bakeneko Jinchuuriki: Nii Yugito Village/Country: Kumogakure no Sato/Lightning Country Nibi is seen to be a two-tailed, flaming cat in the Naruto manga (It has not appeared in the anime yet). Other than the ability to breathe fire, we are unsure of what kind of powers the Demon Cat possess. Yugito is a female Jinchuuriki. She was first seen in chapter 313 of the manga, and is a ninja from the Hidden Cloud Village. She refers to herself as the second strongest ninja of the village. Despite transforming into the Demon Cat's true form, she is quickly and easily beaten by akatsuki members Hidan and Kakuzu. At the end we see her pinned to a wall by a kunai through her hands. Later on Akatsuki member Zetsu arrives to take her off their hands, and Akatsuki eventually extracts the bijuu out.

	Sanbi no Kyodaigame Jinchuuriki: Yagura(4th Mizukage) Village/Country: Kirigakure/Water Country The Sanbi is first seen in the Naruto Manga, chapter 317. We see Akatsuki members Deidara and Tobi trying to bring down the Sanbi, which Tobi says is a turtle. The Sanbi retaliates against the attacks of the members and Tobi runs from it while Deidara molds his explosive clay into a fish then throws it into the water. The clay fish swims close beside the Bijuu before detonating. Deidara and Tobi end up defeating and capturing the Bijuu very easily. Tobi gloats about how he defeated the Sanbi, and Deidara scolds him by saying that he had helped and that Akatsuki members are not supposed to act like that. Deidara adds that Tobi should not be that excited because the Sanbi was weak because it did not have a Jinchuuriki to control its power.

	Yonbi no Saru Jinchuuriki: Roushi Village/Country: Iwagakure no Sato/Earth Country The four-tails Jinchuuriki was an elderly man who was first seen in chapter 353 of the Naruto manga. It is unknown where he was from or what animal the bijuu was because Kisame had already defeated him when he was shown in the manga. Although he was seen defeated, Kisame said that he had a difficult time with this Jinchuuuriki because of all the elemental fusions (combining different types of attacks like fire, wind, and water) that the old man could perform. It is hypothesized that the dark mark seen around this Jinchuuriki's nose and cheeks is an influence of his bijuu (like Naruto's whiskers and the dark circles around Gaara's eyes).

	Kyuubi no Yoko Jinchuuriki: Uzumaki Naruto Village/Country: Konohagakure no Sato/Fire Country The Forth Hokage sealed the Kyuubi, the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox, within Naruto after its attack on Konoha twelve years before the start of Naruto the series. It is said to be the most powerful of the tailed-beasts because a single swipe of one of its nine tails could raise tsunamis and flatten mountains The Kyuubi gives Naruto the ability to heal from wounds at astonishing speeds, as well as give him an immense amount of Chakra. It is also the reason why Naruto has those three lines (or whiskers) on each side of his face. The Kyuubi is activated in times of extreme rage (like when Naruto saw Sasuke take a hit for him and thought that he was going to die) and times of near death (like when Naruto is about to drown after being heavily wounded in the battle between him and Sasuke). As the Nine-Tailed fox is activated, Naruto becomes more and more like the Kyuubi. The Third Hokage and Kakashi Hatake have said that if Naruto loses all control of the Kyuubi's chakra, than the seal which keeps it inside Naruto will break and the Kyuubi will be freed. Fortunatley, this has not happened, so Naruto still has the Kyuubi within him. He has been trained by one of the three legendary Sannin, Jiraiya, so that he could control and call upon the power of the Kyuubi at will.

Biography:

Shikamaru is definitely one of the most intelligent shinobi to have come from Konoha, yet he is probably also one of the laziest. Shikamaru is a member of the Nara clan, who are famous for raising deer and making medicine from their antlers. He chose to become a shinobi because he thought it would be interesting and allow him to live an easy life, but has since realized it’s a lot more work than he had originally anticipated. One of his favorite catchphrases is “what a pain.”

That said, when Shikamaru puts his mind to it, he becomes a strategy genius and is able to generate and analyze hundreds of possible moves in mere moments. According to Asuma, Shikamaru has an IQ of over 200. Even though he just taught Shikamaru how to play Shogi (Japanese chess), Asuma has never managed to win a game against his student. Shikamaru’s brilliance makes him a natural team leader, even though he often tries to back out of the role. Out of the eleven Konoha genin who entered the Chunin Exam, Shikamaru was the only one to advance to the Chunin rank.

Because of his mother’s bossy behaviour, Shikamaru has come to view all women as troublesome. Ironically, nearly all of his opponents so far in the Naruto series have been female. Shikamaru is also often seen with Temari, making some fans speculate that there may be a relationship between the two.

Like his father, Shikamaru is also skilled in the use of Kagemane or Shadow Imitation jutsu. Although it is not entirely clear how the jutsu works, it is known that it uses chakra to manipulate shadows at the will of the user. Once an opponent’s shadow is in contact with the user’s shadow, his body will be force to copy the exact movements of the user. In its most basic state, the Kagemane is a support type jutsu, but more advanced techniques such as the Kage Nui can use the shadows for offensive purposes as well.

	Kagemane no Jutsu (Ninjutsu) Shadow Imitation Technique uses chakra to stretch and expand the user's shadow. If an opponent's shadow comes in contact with it, then the person is immobilized and forced to mimic the movements of the user.		Kage Kubi Shibari no Jutsu (Ninjutsu) Shadow Neck Bind is a follow-up to the Kagemane where the user extends a hand-shaped shadow up to the victim's neck and chokes him to death.
	Strategical Genius (Special) Shikamaru is a genius with an IQ of over 200. If the situation arises, he forms a special hand position and enters into concentration mode. He is able to generate and evaluate hundreds of possible strategies in mere moments and can pick out the one with the highest probability of success.		Kage Nui (Ninjutsu) Shadow Sewing is a technique where multipe shadow tendrils can be created. The tendrils are very versatile and can be used for stabbing opponents, binding them, manipulating objects and even throwing weapons.
	Trench Knives (Weapon) Shikamnaru adopted Asuma's chakra channeling trench knives after his death. He trained so that he is able to channel his own chakra into them to use as extensions of his Shadow Imitation jutsu. An enemy will be trapped even if their shadow is struck by the knife.

Biography:

Naruto was once described by Kakashi Hatake as Konoha’s “number one loudest, unpredictable, hyperactive knuckle headed ninja.” Naruto is always energetic and a prankster at heart. Although he might not be the most skilled ninja when it comes to any of the jutsu disciplines, his resourcefulness and cleverness has surprised many opponents in combat. He has repeated declared his own “Way of the Ninja” in the series; this is mostly comprised of never giving up and going back on his promises, as well as always using his strength to protect his friends and loved ones. But Naruto’s strong will can also turn into stubbornness and even brashness in battle. On more than one occasion, his teammates had to step in and stop Naruto from charging forward blindly in a fit of rage.

Naruto is the son of the late Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, and a kunoichi from the former Whirlpool Country, Kushina Uzumaki. It has been commented by Tsunade and Jiraiya that although Naruto resembles his father the most, his personality and jutsu style are almost identical to his mother’s. In order to stop the rampaging Nine-Tailed Demon Fox Kyuubi from destroying Konoha, the Fourth Hokage sealed Kyuubi inside his own infant son, Naruto. However, Namikaze soon died from the process, leaving Naruto an orphan (it is presumed his mother passed away previously). Even though the Third Hokage forbid the adults from speaking about the demon sealed inside Naruto, most still feared and ostracized him. Even so, Naruto wouldn't let anyone stop him from his goal to eventually become Konoha’s Hokage.

Naruto took his first step towards his goal when he graduated from the Ninja Academy to become a genin level ninja. His mentor and closest person to a family was Iruka Umino, who despite having his own parents killed by Kyuubi, did not bear any grudge against Naruto. Because of the Kyuubi’s chakra off-balancing his own, Naruto had a hard time performing even basic jutsus and was often picked on by other kids. Iruka was always there to encourage him and often treated Naruto to ramen at Ichiraku’s to reward him for achieving certain goals.

After graduating, Naruto gained new friends in the form of his new sensei and teammates, Kakashi Hatake, Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha. Although it was rough at first, Naruto eventually made strong bonds with Sasuke and Sakura, and was willing to do everything he can to protect them. Naruto had a crush on Sakura, but she repeatedly had made it clear to him that she was only interested in Sasuke. It would not be until part II did Sakura’s feelings for Naruto began to surface. Naruto’s determination to become Hokage one day even affected Tsunade, who would become the Fifth Hokage. Because Naruto’s spirit resembled so much of her little brother Nawaki and her lover Dan (both killed in the Ninja Wars), Tsunade decided to pass on her amulet from the First Hokage to Naruto. The amulet will be crucial later in the series because it contains a special chakra crystal which allowed the First Hokage to tame tailed beasts.

During the Sasuke Retrieval arc, Naruto and other Konoha shinobi under Shikamaru’s leadership set out to bring Saskue back to Konoha. It ultimately led to Naruto facing Sasuke in a one-on-one battle at the Valley of the End. Naruto failed to defeat Sasuke, who went on alone to join Orochimaru’s organization. Naruto nearly lost his life in the battle, alive only because of Kyuubi’s regenerative abilities and the fact that Sasuke did not finish him off. Nevertheless, Naruto was not about to give up on Sasuke. Even as he sat in his hospital bed, he pledged to Sakura again to bring Sasuke back for her.

During the time skip before part II, Naruto set out with Jiraiya to travel and train in preparation for his ultimate confrontation with Sasuke again. Jiraiya was the sensei to Naruto’s father, Minato Namikaze, and taught Naruto the Rasengan, an original jutsu developed by Minato. Naruto improved his skills and gained a host of new abilities including better control of his Kyuubi transformation. However, after an incident where he nearly killed Sakura during one of his rampages in the four-tailed Kyuubi form, Naruto was convinced by Yamato to rely more on his own power in order to reach Sasuke. After intensive training with Kakashi and Yamato, Naruto eventually developed his own jutsu, the Spiral Shuriken, based on the original Rasengan but with Wind chakra injected into the mix.

Naruto is most comfortable in close range hand to hand combat. His immense natural chakra reserve allows him greater stamina and gives him the ability to make multiple Shadow Clones with ease. Initially in the series, Naruto often charged in blindly with his clones in a mass attack. But in part II he has started to learn to use his clones more effectively by using them to test and analyze the enemy before committing to a full attack. Naruto’s signature move is still the Rasengan, it can deliver a lot of damage but must be delivered at point blank range to the target. Although the Spiral Shuriken is a far more deadly jutsu, Tsunade has forbid Naruto from using it because its long term effects could prevent Naruto from using chakra ever again.

After Naruto knew Orochimaru's defeat against Sasuke, he expected him to come back to Konoha, but Tsunade informed the otherwise. Knowing Sasuke's goal to finally murder his brother, Itachi, Naruto and his comrades(Sakura, Sai, Kakashi, Yamato, Kiba, and Hinata) were sent on a mission to locate Itachi.

Abilities and Jutsus:

	Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Ninjutsu) One of Naruto's favorite techniques is to create Shadow Clones of himself. While most ninja can only maintain three or four clones at a time. Naruto's stamina and vast chakra reserve allows him to easily create thirty or forty (maybe even hundreds).		Oiroke no Jutsu (Ninjutsu) 'Sexy Technique' is most effective on men, Naruto transforms into a naked young girl, distracting his enemies or stunning them as they recover from a massive nosebleed. Combines with Shadow Clones to make Harem no Jutsu ( a lot more naked girls).
	Harem no Jutsu (Ninjutsu) 'Harem Technique' is a combination of Sexy no Jutsu with Shadow Clones technique to make a lot more naked girls. Very effective against "closet perverts."		Henge (Ninjutsu) Henge or transformation is a basic ninjutsu technique Naruto has perfected through practice. During the battle against Zabuza, Naruto transformed himself into a large shuriken in order to launch a surprise attack against their opponent.
	Combination Henge (Ninjutsu) Combo Transformation was first used by Naruto with Gamabunta during the fight against Shukaku. Naruto chose the form and performed the hand seals while Gamabunta provided the necessary chakra. Ironically, the form Naruto chose was that of Kyuubi.		Gamakichi (Summon) Gamakichi is on of the sons of Gamabunta, he was first summoned by Naruto in his battle against Gaara because he couldn't focus his chakra correctly. Gamakichi can talk and has a rude attitude, but formed a friendship with Naruto after he shielded him from Gaara's attacks.
	Gamatatsu (Summon) Gamatatsu is also one of Gamabunta's sons. He was first summoned by Naruto during the Search for Tsunade arc. Naruto had wanted to summon Gamabunta instead, but could not access Kyuubi's chakra. Gamatatsu can speak but seems less intelligent than Gamakichi and also has a fixation on food.		Gamabunta (Summon) Gamabunta is also known as the Toad King, and is one of the most powerful toads Jiraiya can summon. Naruto is able to summon Gamabunta by relying on his Kyuubi chakra. Gamabunta is several stories tall, he speaks with yakuza (Japanese mafia) slang and carries a giant yakuza dagger.
	Rasengan (Ninjutsu) 'Spiraling Sphere' is a powerful ninjutsu Naruto learned from Jiraiya. It requires Naruto to focus chakra into a dense sphere on his palm. When brought into contact with another object, it can inflict tremendous damage. Rasengan variations: Senjutsu:Rasenrengan 2 Rasengans used 2 kill the Animal Path Pain. Senpou: Oodama Rasengan A Sage mode variation of Oodama Rasengan. It is still continuously growing.		Uzumaki Combo (Taijutsu) This is pretty much a copy of Sasuke's Lion Combo. Naruto uses four Shadow Clones to hit the opponent into the air and ends with a kick from above called the 'Naruto Rendan.'
	Kyuubi (Seal) (Special) Sealed inside Naruto is the demon fox Kyuubi. Normally, Kyuubi's near limitless chakra passively heals Naruto's wounds. Naruto is slowy learning how to use Kyubi's chakra to power-up his own techniques and increase his physical powers.		Kyuubi Transformation (Special) (Seal) Using more of Kyuubi's chakra can increase Naruto's powers exponentially. At high levels, a red chakra shield will envelop Naruto. At even higher levels, Naruto's body will begin transforming into a fox form. However, the more he changes the more control he loses to Kyuubi
	Kyuubi Rasengan (Special) (Ninutsu) Powered by Kyuubi's chakra, the Kyuubi Rasengan is formed from a collection of dark chakra bubbles and has a light red tinge to its normal color. It is far more destructive than the regular Rasengan but must still be delivered at close range.		Odama Rasengan (Ninjutsu) Great Ball Rasengan is an improved version of the original Rasengan which Naruto developed during the time skip. It is far more powerful and chakra intensive, so it requires Naruto and a Shadow Clone to maintain it.
	Kyuubi Four-Tail Transformation (Special) (Seal) When Naruto grows a fourth tail during his Kyuubi transformation, he loses all awareness of his actions and goes into a rampage. A mixture of Kyuubi's chakra and his own blood coats his body, forming an impenetrable layer. This state is very dangerous to maintain because it erodes Naruto's human body while active.		Kyuubi Chakra Cannon (Special) (Ninjutsu) In the Four-Tail Kyuubi state, Naruto is able to gather and compress black chakra into a high density sphere. The sphere is then swallowed and fired at an extreme velocity, creating a gigantic shockwave in its wave.
	Rasen Shuriken (Ninjutsu) Naruto developed the Spiral Shuriken during his training by injecting his Wind chakra into the original Rasengan. Despite being called a shuriken, the attack must be made at point blank range. This jutsu is highly dangerous because it uses microscopic blades of Wind chakra to attack every cell in the body.		Sage Mode (Special) After training with Fukasaku at Myoboku Mountain, Naruto is able to master the Sage Mode technique which Jiraiya and his father had learned. Sage mode allows Naruto to ampify his powers by drawing in nature's energy and combining it with his own internal chakra. But to gather nature's energy, Naruto needs to remain absolutely still.
