Biography:

Sasuke freed Suigetsu from being one of Orochimaru's experimentation subjects after defeating latter. Sasuke recurited him into his 'Snake' team because of his unique abilities, but Suigetsu seems to have his own reasons for follwing him. Although he gets along well withh Sasuke, Suigetsu constantly tests Karin's nerves and itches to have a battle to the death with Jugo.

Suigetsu hails from the Hidden Village in the Mist and was once Zabuza Momochi's apprentice. He highly respected Zabuza as a sensei and even shares the same sharpened teeth as him. After joining up with Sasuke, Suigetsu retreived Zabuza's cleaver sword from his grave site and made it his own. He insists on wielding the gigantic blade despite lacking the stamina to haul it around all the time.

The full extent of his abilities are unknown but most likely involves Water element based abilities and jutsus. Suigetsu has shown the ability to turn his body into liquid form. His ability to alter the size of different parts of his body may be also attributed to the latter ability. Suigetsu also appears to need to continuously consume water because of his low stamina.

Abilities and Jutsus:

Zabuza's Beheader Sword (Weapon) Suigetsu obtained Zabuza's sword after visiting his grave in the Wave Country. He claims that his goal is to collect all the swords of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist

Waterform (Bloodline?) Suigetsu has the unique ability to completely or partially turn parts of his body into water. The downside to this ability is that he needs to constantly rehydrate himself in dry areas and he is naturally vulnerable to lightning attacks
