Kimimaro Kaguya is the only survivor of the ill-fated Kaguya clan who were savages who only lived for the thrill of the battle. Kimimaro was the strongest in the clan having inherited a pure bloodline, but he was locked up for most of his youth only to be brought out when he is needed to fight. The Kaguya clan, save Kimimaro, was wiped out on a suicide attack against the vastly stronger Kirigakure. Kimimaro managed to survive and was found by Orochimaru afterwards. Because Orochimaru showed him kindness, Kimimaro became intensely devoted to him and his ideals. Kimimaro was ready to willingly offer his body as Orochimaru’s next host, but he developed an incurable disease and became unusable to Orochimaru. When he heard that Sasuke was to become Orochimaru’s next vessel, Kimimaro set
out to redeem himself by making sure Sasuke is brought to Orochimaru even if it costs him his life.In battle, Kimimaro is an extremely gifted taijutsu user. His attacks are both precise and fluid; Kimimaro wastes no movements. His Shikotsumyaku bloodline ability gives him the ability to manipulate and grow bones from his body. This is both a defensive and offensive ability as he can harden his bones to make them more resistant to damage or extract them from his body to use as weapons.

 | Shikotsumyaku (Bloodline) (Special) Kimimaro's bloodline ability allows him to project and regenerate bones from his body at will. He can use his bones as weapons in close combat or launch them as projectiles. |  | Dance of the Willows (Taijutsu) Yanagi no Mai. Kimimaro grows long bone protusions from his arms, hands and knees to impale his enemies. This taijutsu style is best for taking out a large number of opponents quickly. |
 | Finger Drill Bullets (Weapon) (Special) Teshi Sendan allows Kimimaro to launch a volley of ten bone bullets at his opponent at incredible speed. |  | Dance of the Camellia (Taijutsu) Tsubaki no Mai is a fluid taijutsu technique used by Kimimaro to take down opponents with quick and precise strikes. His prefered weapon is a high density bone sword created from his own body |
 | Dance of the Larch (Taijutsu) Karamatsu no Mai is both an offensive and defensive technique. Kimimaro projects multiple sharp bones from his body and spins his body to cut and puncture his opponent at close range. |  | Dance of the Clematis (Taijutsu) Tessenka no Mai is a combination attack first using 'tsuru' to bind the opponent and then using 'hana' to drill through his defenses. It is an unsual technique for Kimimaro as it relies soley on stength and brute force rather than agility and speed. |
 | Tsuru (Weapon) (Special) Tsuru or 'stem' is actually made from Kimimaro's own backbone. It acts like a chain sword that can bend and wrap around an opponent, both cutting and trapping him at the same time. |  | Hana (Weapon) (Special) Hana or 'flower' is a large bone drill grown from Kimimaro's arm. It is the hardest bone in his body and can normally break through most defenses. |
 | Dance of the Seelding Ferns (Ninjutsu) (Special) Sawarabi no Mai is an area effect attack that causes an explosion of bone spikes from the ground. Kimimaro can quickly cover a large area with his bone protrusions, impaling all opponents caight within it. |  | Bone Meld (Ninjutsu) (Special) Kimimaro has demonstrated the ability to meld himself within his bones. It can be used skillfully to amush an enemy from behind as Kimimaro can materialize from solid bone itself. |
 | Cursed Seal level 1 (Seal) (Special) The level 1 Cursed Seal increases Kimimaro's speed and agility as well as his bone regeneration powers. This makes him even more resistant to physical damage and allows him to use higher level taijutsu techniques. |  | Cursed Seal level 2 (Seal) (Special) The second level Cursed Seal transforms Kimimaro to a dinosaur-like creature with gray skin and a large tail. He is incredibly fast and strong in this form and can withstand a tremendous amount of damage and continue to fight. |
