Biography:
Deidara is a missing-nin formerly from the Hidden Village of the Rock. He is a clever and skilled fighter but prefers to rely on evasion and long range attacks to bring his enemies down. He also seems to have a high tolerance for pain and is capable of fighting on even with his arm torn off. Deidara’s specialty is the manipulation and use of explosive clay-based jutsu. On the palm of each of his hands is a mouth that can consume and mold his clay into whatever shape and power he desires. Deidara makes his explosive clay by infusing them with a high concentration of chakra. The amount of jutsu he can perform is limited by the amount of clay he has prepared, but even a small clump of clay can be transformed into a much large shape. Deidara seems to prefer to mold his clay into bird-themed animal shapes. When activated, these clay sculptures are animated and are capable of flight. One of Deidara’s tactics is to ride atop one of his clay birds to maintain his distance from his enemy, all the while sending smaller and speedier explosive clay birds to attack.
Deidara's Akatsuki ring has the character for 'Blue' and he wears it on the index finger of his right hand. Deidara was previously Sasori’s partner, but unlike most other Akatsuki two-man teams, he actually respected Sasori. Deidara considers himself as an artist and sees fine art to be something of extreme beauty but fleeting in existence like that of an explosion. Although he considers Sasori as a fellow artist, they argued constantly because Sasori saw fine art as things that were made to last for eternity, like his puppets. Tobi is Deidara’s current partner but their relationship is more like that of a comedic duo. Tobi is a relatively new member to Akatsuki and his sarcastic comments constantly get on Sasori’s nerves.


Abilities and Jutsus:

	Deidara's Palm Mouths (Bloodline?) The special mouths on each of Sasori's palms can consume and mold explosive clay into whatever shape he desires.		Eye Scope (Device) A special eye scope attached to Deidara's left eye allows him to perform surveillance and espionage from a distance.
	Clay Birds (Ninjutsu) Deidara' clay birds are capable of flight and come in two varieties; those large enough for him to ride on and smaller and speedier birds used to home in and explode next to their target.		Clay Spiders (Ninjutsu) Because of their small size, Deidara can use these clay spiders for stealth attacks. While their explosions are not as powerful, the spiders can still do considerable damage by latching onto an enemy's face and exploding at point-blank range.
	Suicide Clay Clone (Ninjutsu) One of Deidara's last-ditch and most deadly attacks is to force one of his clay clones to ingest a large amount of explosive clay. The clone becomes a living bomb and will unleash a huge explosion, killing itself and anyone nearby.		Clay Hoppers (Ninjutsu) These nimble are extremely small and used in large numbers. Once scattered on the battlefield, they leap at great speeds toward their target. Once attached, they explode simultaneously.
	Clay Dragon (Ninjutsu) A massive clay dragon which can soar high into the air. It has several abilities including spitting out a smaller dragon at its opponent like a missile. It can also produce hundreds of small spherical clay mines.		C4 Garuda (Ninjutsu) Deidara can produce this giant bomb version of himself by consuming his own clay and spewing it out. When it explodes, it releases millions of microscopic bombs that tear apart the cells from the inside.
	Specialty #18 (Ninjutsu) A large bomb infused with the highest level of chakra Deidara could make. Deidara used the bomb on the Sand village in order to force Gaara to drop his defences to save his village.
